Shu Uemura workshop

And so I came for the SU workshop. It lasted for about 2 hours plus. It was quite alright, didn’t really learn much cuz it was really basic. Firstly we were to cleanse our faces using the Brightening C/O. Then we used toner (I used the Phyto Black) and moisturizer (also Phyto Black). And proceeded to make up.

Products used
Face: Face Architect Remodeling Cream Foundation in 764 (if I’m not mistaken)
Cheeks: Orange eyeshadow (not sure which one exactly haha)
Lips: Gloss Unlimited in PK310N
Eyes: Painting Liner in Purple; four eye shadows that I can’t remember which; Drawing Pencil in ME 01 Black for tightlining, ME 06 Silver on one third of inner corner of lower lashline; Precise Length Mascara in 01 Deep Black
Brows: Shu Uemura Hard Formula 9 in 02 Seal Brown & 06 Acorn

In the goody bag, we got 4 tiny samples of cleansing oil in Advanced Formula/Classic, Fresh, Premium A/O and Brightening WR EX+; and a cute mini two way cake (not sure exactly what it’s called, will find out later) in 564. Haven’t taken pics of these yet though, will get around to do it soon. Hopefully.

Current Obsessions

Last Saturday, went to Shu Uemura @ Sogo to get the eyebrow pencil I booked the night before. Bought the Hard Formula 9 in 02 Seal Brown. Waited for the SA to sharpen it into the flat tip shape thingy signature. Naginata sword shape. Anyway, once he was done, I asked if I could get samples of the cleansing oil in classic (now discontinued, replaced by Advanced Formula) and in Fresh (the pink color).

Long story short, I bought the H9 that has been raved by so many people. I was tempted because I’ve been reading way too many good reviews on it, and I was in need of a brow pencil in ashy brown shade (my old one is gray). Plus one of my own close friends actually owns one of these and she loves it to bits haha.

And… gosh, I LOVE IT!

This eyebrow pencil has gotta be the best one (that I’ve tried, and ever will – because I don’t think I will ever switch to another brow pencil, ever!), ever. There’s no need to brush your brows with the brush thingy (spoolie, is it?) after you draw em on. It looks so natural, it doesn’t look fake or drawn on at all. Totally loving it!

The cleansing oil is also so darn good. I love the Advanced Formula but I find the Fresh one so so. Pink one is a bit drying to my skin. The original one is definitely nicer to my skin.

All in all, I really fell in love with shu uemura, hard. Head over heels. And yes, I have been obsessed with the H9 and the cleansing oil! I’ve ordered their Limited Edition Moyoco Anno (Kamon Girl) Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/O (450ml). I also wanted to get the Advanced Formula but sadly it was sold out… oh well.

Yes, shu uemura H9 pencil and cleansing oil are my current, and latest obsessions.

I totally LOVE em! And they’re so good. I would say that they’re worth every cent I paid, except that it still kinda burns a hole in my wallet (and my bank account!!). Ah, what the heck. They’re worth it. They’re just not worth it if you buy them from a retail location in Jakarta and Japan hahaha cause they’re more pricey than other places.
